Thai papers are handcrafted using the bark of the mulberry tree, a fast-growing tree common in Southeast Asia.
The fibres of the mulberry bark are longer than traditional paper pulp, making them stronger and more durable than most other papers, while still being extremely lightweight. When torn, mulberry paper creases, leaving a beautiful jagged edge.
Floral mulberry papers are thick papers that contain natural or coloured flowers and leaves, making them ideal for book covers, albums, diaries and planners, as well as card and lamp making, scrapbooking, decoupage and mixing media.
